Thank you, Sabrina, for being so brave, so wise, and so generous to reflect and share your learnings from your first year of writing.

You have always been an inspiration, but this allows so many who follow in your footsteps (like me!) to learn from you and know that if we just keep going, there are some great rewards ahead!

Your point about being a recovering perfectionist really resonated with me. I've always been driven to achieve, but I've also struggled with the fear of failure and the need to have everything "just right." It's a constant balancing act, and I'm learning to embrace the messy, imperfect process of growth. As you said, sometimes "done" is better than "perfect," and that's a valuable lesson for all of us.

Have you met Lucy Squire from the Mindful Living Academy? She has been writing a lot about perfectionism. Might be a fun connection!

Love your thoughtful comments Alexander. That fear of failure is a strong one and ebbs and flows for me too. I'm getting braver with age and evidence which helps.

Will look up Lucy - thanks for the tip!

I've absolutely loved reading your posts over this past year (all of them!) And have enjoyed watching the evolution, too, though honestly everything you've shared has so much value. It's such a funny place to show up week after week. I know my lessons learned over the past year have been quite similar! 💜

Thanks Cassie - it’s been a real journey of experimentation.

Such a strange weekly visit process! It really tops and tails my week too so it’s become a part of my routine.

It’ll be good to reflect on the topics and bring some of them back in a new way.

Hope you are OK. I still need to respond to your latest posts xx

So many great insights here, Sabrina! I’m also going to use the term “cognitively splattered”

Such valuable insights as you review your first year! I love how you iterated your way to where you are now.

It's been an honour to be on this journey with you. Cheers to year two 🎉 May it bring you the people who need to hear what you have to say.

Your kind, caring heart combined with your neuroscience background, plus art therapy coaching will help many folks who need a space where they can just be, learn and move through and forward. ❤️

My dear Janet, you've been there since the start!! I'm so lucky our paths crossed and you have been a constant cheerleader. 💜🙌

This is a truly special thing you give us.

So glad we're on this journey together.

I wish I could be kinder - when I'm having mean thoughts, I am reminded of you and give myself a nudge! 😝

This is spot on and I see myself reflected in so many points, especially overcoming the initial blockage of feeling like a fool, lol.

Loved all your points but one thing that I particularly liked is how you talk about your 2-year goals.

That's the mindset: this a long-term game.

Thank so much Veronica - hearing this from you means so much, and proves my point!

Long-term game for sure, with medium-term goals along the way!
