Frankly, I rarely get the shower effect. Could be because I had a 3-5 minute showers at boarding school. But I am an avid day dreamer all right. I get in flow especially when watering flowers, folding the laundry and even reading ! I like to walk with company and talk along.
But consistency in what you write is essential, I think. You have been performing very well so far. I think you should not stress over ideas, life has a way of offering such novel shifts. I would actually like to hear more on how art comes into the picture. Have a nice week.

I find I get great ideas first thing, still lying in bed - as if the inner critic hasn't woken up to edit my ideas yet!
That lucid dreaming or liminal space is great for generating ideas. It's better when you're lower energy which seems counterintuitive. Love this!
