Hi Sabrina - I am a little late to the party but I would love to hear more about how to wean ourselves from procrastination and addictive behaviours, ike Netflix bingeing, sugar and internet surfing - in fact as I write that I suspect the two topics are linked?
Hi Fi, thanks for your comment. And yes, these behaviours are often linked! I allude to it a bit in my online shopping article but can take a deeper dive. From my coaching work, unhelpful habits often kick in when we're trying to reduce discomfort- either related to thoughts we have, things we have to do or expectations of others. Maybe dig into what happens before the behaviours kick in. It might even be hours before, but those things can linger and drive you to distracting behaviours
Sabrina, this is a wonderful and informative introduction to your newsletter! We take for granted how our brain works to protect us and keep us going! I look forward to learning more!
