Oh it is difficult but I love looking at certain things on FB or Instagram so I give myself a half hour to investigate my interests and with that short amount of time I have to be careful of what I look at so I get in the things that interest me. That's a useful technique and I wrote about it in my latest post. It's so easy to get sucked in and before you know it, time has passed and you have nothing to show for it. Using this approach strategically as a mental break or treat is fab - glad it's working for you!

That is BRILLIANT Sabrina. You totally described me during Covid lockdowns (in the most locked down city in the world) buying boots online (5x pairs -really? I had NO where to wear them! LOL) I recall reading an article about how shopping is a power rush for women ...so true. Thanks for sharing your journey - it resonates.

Thanks so much Fi, I'm so glad it resonated. Many of us get into these consumption habits to bring reward and control into our lives but it can escalate quickly! Hope you're enjoying those boots at least!
